Terms for Sale and Limited Lifetime warranty:

I accept Visa or Mastercard, PayPal, money orders, and personal checks (must clear before shipping). One half of the purchase price is due at the time of ordering which is refundable up to 90 days before the start time of the instrument less a $500 work order fee.  The balance of the sale,  plus shipping is due at time of completion.  All instruments have a five year workmanship warranty to the original owner.  Normal wear and other manufacturer’s parts are not covered by this warranty.  Determining applicability of warranty is solely at my discretion and all shipping charges are paid by the customer.  Any modifications to an instrument voids the warranty.  All non custom instruments come with a satisfaction guarantee where the purchaser has a 3 day approval period.  A refund of the instrument’s purchase price minus the $500 work order fee and all shipping charges will be given upon inspection.  The cost of any repairs will be subtracted from the purchase price.  The instrument must be returned in the original packaging.  All custom body styles, custom inlays, custom ordered left handed basses, custom scale lengths, and custom string spacing sales are final.

Cancellation Policy:

Should you decide to cancel your order your deposit is refundable minus the $500 order work order fee up to 90 days prior to your instruments start.  After this point your deposit is not refundable.

Any instrument not paid for within 30 days of completion is subject to immediate sale by “Cliff Bordwell Instruments”.  Any deposit amount remaining towards said instrument will be forfeit at this time.
